Municipal Elections
In this episode we’re talking about municipal elections. How they work, when they happen, everything you need to know as a voter in the city of Anchorage.
Our guest is William Northrop, the acting elections administrator with the Municipality of Anchorage. He spoke with Alaska Teen Media producer Roey McCowan about his role and broke down the various aspects of municipal elections, ballot counting, voting, and much more.
They spoke on March 22nd, before the 2024 mayoral election went into a runoff.
